We carry out research for the e-liquids of tomorrow

The vapor of the happy liquid "Strawberry-Menthol" was introduced into an aqueous medium. This medium was added to a culture of human lung cells and the cell behavior was recorded in time-lapse over a period of 10 hours. Here one sees no damage to the cell culture and recognizes normal cell divisions (mitoses), cell migration and only very few dying cells.

For comparison, the vapor of an e liquid from the USA was introduced into an aqueous medium. This medium was added to a culture of human lung cells and the cell behavior was recorded in fast motion over a period of 10 hours. Here one can see clear damage and changes in the cells with cell divisions no longer proceeding in a regular manner as well as a clearly reduced cell migration. The appearance of many apoptotic and dying cells is particularly striking.

Here, tobacco smoke was introduced into an aqueous medium. This medium was added to a culture of human lung cells and the cell behavior was recorded in time-lapse over a period of 10 hours. It can be clearly seen that after as little as 4 hours, the cells reacted by stopping cell division and cell migration, and then rounded off more. Finally, all cells have died.
